Dan: So, Nina, how did the musical start? Zoe: Well once upon a time, there was a boy named Daniel Nina: And a fairy! Zoe: And Daniel loved the fairy. But the fairy did not love Daniel. Nina: Hand puppet noises Zoe: So, Daniel sang a song for the fairy. But the fairy still did not love Daniel. Then Daniel wrote a play for the fairy , but she still didn’t love Daniel. So he put them together… Nina: But she still didn’t love him, so he killed himself. Zoe: That’s the Swedish Ending, in America the fairy loves Daniel.
